Making $300,000 Blogging?

Ciao Tutti,

Making Sense Of Cents is a blog that is showing up all over Pinterest every-time I am looking for more ways to make money blogging. I am no expert and, have a lot to learn when it comes to blogging. But, I am wondering how she makes so much money within a year? she does have people working for her so, I can see how that would start to make you quite a bit of money. She also, knows all about affiliate links… I was amazed at how many companies have affiliate links and, I have signed up for a few including BlueHost. This is to test if I start making money blogging or, if the affiliate links do nothing. She as big goals set for herself as, I do but, she is really seeing them work out in front of her eyes. Her monthly incomes can range from $30,000 plus, I mean, who wouldn’t want to start a blog with the potential to make quite a bit of dough. I obviously haven’t had a blog for three years to get paid because I haven’t made any money off of my blog as of yet. I just love writing to you all and, conversing about interesting topics. But, I thought it’s time to have your hard work earn you some income. I just signed up for her 7 day email of how to make money on blogging. Just like my other blog posts say, I will be testing this method to see if it works. I will do a monthly income update as well as, an update when it comes to all these extra programs that I am trying. My goal within 6 months is to make $6,000 at $1,000 a month lets see if that is doable before I spitting off large goals like $20,000 a month and, $100,000 a year. As, I promised I am working on my blog everyday bringing you all fresh insight. I know there have been a few questions about how I started blogging what hosts I am using etc.. I will do a separate blog post although, I am not am expert I will try to help you all as much as possible because if blogging is your passion I welcome you! I have loved blogging over the past three almost four years and, could not think about going a day without it! Real Estate Junkie

We all know by now I am a Real Estate Junkie and, if you didn’t welcome, “my name is Allie and, I am a real estate junkie.” Yup, I am hooked and, unfortunately I have quite expensive taste or I should say I have a vision in mind. I would like to own an estate and, use it for the summer for all of my friends and, family to stay. So, my vision includes an estate and, trust me, I have found a lot. I have looked specifically in England and Virginia and, I found some pretty spectacular places. This week I focused in on Virginia and, all its glory. I do not have a lot of historical information on Virginia but, what I do know is that there are some gorgeous properties. Breathing taking is one why to describe the landscapes of these Virginia Estates.

I will talk you through the house and, explain why I find it so charming. The pictures will be followed by my opinion, I am not a historian nor am I a real estate agent, I just happen to be smitten with real estate. 

  What first attracted me to this listing was not only the price but, the quaint exterior of this charming historic “farm house.” The first picture that I see of a house gives off a vibe that attracts me to the house and pulls me in to take a closer look at the beauty.

The kitchen I always find is the center of the house and, you want it to be large enough to cook and chat in. I happen to really love to cook so, if that is you, you understand the importance of this. They have really done a fantastic job of preserving the home which has a warm and enchanting atmosphere. The counter space in this kitchen is stellar, especially if you have family coming over to cook a large meal. In this kitchen you might be able to fit five people comfortably cooking together. The beams are rustic and match the tone of the flooring. The only thing I see that may need updating are the appliances however, this does not strike me as a stainless steel type of kitchen, it would completely ruin the charm that the current owners have preserved so well. They make great use of the walls with a place to hang all of your pots and, pans. The only problem which I can’t see in this picture is if there is room for a little breakfast nook.

This bedroom is one of three perfectly placed interior designing. There are a few elements of the room that could use a little touch but, the wardrobe is not one. If this house comes fully furnished the next owner will defiantly have quite a treasure on their hands. I have never seen a wardrobe as unique as this with a mirror and two doors on the sides. Can we chat about the wood flooring which gives a blank canvas to work with and, for a painter that is the best thing that could happen. The room is a treat to design.

Staircases and I, well, I have no idea why I happen to love beautiful staircases so much but, I guess it comes with the real estate junkie territory. I am enjoying the appearance of the wood and, how the eye catches different aspects of the staircase in every glance. I have to say it’s visually appealing especially if you enjoy older homes. I happen to love houses with history and character. Notice in the back the door either to the front or outside with the farm like screen door.

Please tell me you feel like we stepped back  in time because I do! It has two of my favorite aspects of a bedroom all in one and, I can’t help but, vibe with the room. Lets chat about the fireplace and, how much I love it. If I was to own a house one of my requirements would be to have a fireplace in my bedroom. Not only is it sustainable but, it is aesthetically pleasing. The bay window is an absolute must for me. When I was younger I fell asleep watching a thunderstorm from my friend’s bay window and, ever since then I have wanted a bay window in my room. It would be the ideal to wake up and sit at my bay window watching the sunrise or, sipping tea and, reading a book. Do you feel the same pull as I do when you almost understand the room and, why it was built.

Moving out to the pool and, if you have been reading my blogs for a long time you will know how much I love to swim. This pool looks quite large and, has a lovely patio to put pool furniture on. If I had the money I would install a closure to be able to use the pool in the winter as well. I would get a lot of use out of the pool and, if I had the money it would be worth the investment.

How cute is this porch area with a walk way up to the house. If you go to the top of the blog post you will see a link to the brochure which will show you the guest cottage and, bunk house. They are both charming and quite useful. With 55 acres of hayfield I would add a few cottages and, bunk houses for airbnb goers. You may even offer your pool and, a breakfast. It would be great income to add to your bank account while meeting lots of people. I would suggest this idea to someone with a family or a couple. I probably would not suggest for someone who is single to do this because there is a dangerous aspect of having strangers rent out your cottages. There is also, a fully stocked pond and, your own cemetery.

Business Shenanigans Day 1

Hello Loves,

Today I am chatting about my business trip and what happened the first day. It was chalk full of shenanigans now, I have a better idea of how to use my PDA and, what I need for it. Road trips to P.A. are always fun, it is a short distance, and usually pretty scenery once you get off of the highway. We landed at Bird-in-Hand ready to get to our room and jump in the pool. I always try to find places to stay that have a pool because, well, I’m a pool junkie. I like to swim as much as I can and, when I was younger if there was a pool I was in it and swimming around for hours. The way I feel when swimming is almost indescribable, I just love it. Well, we walked into the hotel to check in and, of course nothing can go smoothly, it turns out that we weren’t booked to stay in the hotel but, rather in the motel. If we weren’t paying $96 something a night I wouldn’t have been as upset but, since we were I was. I was absolutely not staying in a motel for $96/night if that was the case I would have booked a motel for $50-$60/night. We had booked through Expedia and, they IMG_3363booked us in the motel not the hotel. Apparently if you book through Expedia they can put you anywhere without you know where you are being placed. I was not aware of this when I was booking the trip and, of course was shocked when I got there to find out we were not staying in the same place ( I was not impressed at all.) After about two hours on the phone with Expedia we ended up paying an extra $70 to stay in the hotel. There was a major difference between the rooms and, I was not staying in the motel for that kind of price. We still have to speak to Expedia to at least get the extra $70 we spent back. When you have specific money set aside for this type of a business trip $70 can be a big hit on your wallet. We settled in the room, pool and, went to Panera for dinner. It can be difficult to eat as a vegan in Lancaster, PA but, I ha a much easier time, this trip. While at Panera I had a moment of sheer panic because I had left my laptop in my dads car which was at home in N.J. huge mistake on my part and, I immediately lost my appetite mid spoonful of black bean soup ( which is delicious and, one of my favorite vegan dishes to get from Panera). My dad ended up meeting us halfway, thank god, and we retrieved the laptop and splashed into the pool when we got back. Why was the laptop so important? Well, what you don’t know is that I have been trying to download aseller tool onto my PDA so I could use the PDA for the book sale and no longer use my phone. Asellertool is hella-expensive and, I wanted to get full use out of it. Now, to get the PDA to work I needed a scout which plugs into the top of the PDA ($250-$300 piece) I also, needed to have a compact flash that is 2-4GB which I didn’t know until the second time I talked to aseller. Then I needed a converter to plug the SD card to install the aseller tool unto the PDA but, we’lll get to that tomorrow. So, the laptop was crucial to get the asellertool onto the compactflash and, then onto the PDA. If you followed all that you defiantly get props because it was confusing even when I finally understood what I needed. So, I should mention that I had purchased the compact flashes on Amazon but, they weren’t arriving until the next day.. yeah.. So, because there was an option to download directly onto the PDA I tried that and the download was like an hour altogether. Now it is late like 10:3-11p.m. and, I have a book sale at 7a.m. the next day. I end up staying up until 3a.m. trying to get this to download and, it kept giving me an error. Or first day in Bird in Hand did not go as planned at all and, I’ll leave off that I woke up exhausted the next day. Stay tuned for the continuation of the business trip story.

I joined a gym?

Yes,

Hello loves, I have joined a gym but, not because of the gym equipment but, mainly because of the pool!! I will be starting my training to try to get my swimming back to where it should be. Today on my vlog I talked about moving my channel toward fitness and, ethical fashion. On my new YouTube Channel “Forever Seeking Wanderlust” I will be posting travel vlogs and ethical fashion videos. If you are a follower of allie vLuv don’t worry I will still be posting vlogs, hauls, makeup, and vegan videos. Back to the gym, well, I had enough with not being physically fit. I have a few knee problems and, Reflex Nerve dystrophy so, I want to ease back into really getting in shape. I used to be on the swim team when I was younger and, just swim a lot in general. I will start with getting back into swimmer shape and, work on my technic. Once I have been able to get myself to a solid 20-30 minute swim I will start to incorporate a challenge that I would to put on the YouTube Channel. I was watching a YouTube Channel I will link a video down below, and, he was doing 40 hours of working for the week. It gave me he idea of pushing myself to do 3 hour challenge and 1 hour every other week to build up resistance. I will have to be careful of running because of my knees I will have to build up fast walking/jog to a run. Once I have established a jog, longer swim I can start the 3 hour 2 week challenge and keep building that up until I reach my 40 hour goal. I realize that it will take me about a month to get myself back in semi-swimming ready. I also, want to be able to bike to the gym over this summer which will be amazing when that happens. The visual of riding my bike to the gym is inspirational in my mind and, I can not wait for that vision to come to life. What we manifest, we put out to the universe what we want and, in return the universe usually gives us what we would like. We have to want it, think about, pray about it (if you are religious), write about it, and act on it. Your positive acts, thoughts, and feeling will be contagious; it is the kind of contagion that I wish would spread throughout the world. I am very excited to peacefully transition into a healthier/fitter lifestyle. As I start to lose weight it will be captured on all of my videos. I plan on eating vegan, of course, but, I will either be fruitarian or rawtill4. I will be learning what my body fuels on best when working out more and, how much I will need to bring with me. I am thinking i will be incorporating more medjol dates, smoothies, bananas, and of course my favorites melons!! I just bought a cap for my hair so I can swim with ease, I already own a one piece bathing suit, and goggles. I know that bathing suit isn’t going to be so flattering but, in my mind I have gotten over myself and, focus on where I need to get my body in order to be healthier and, have a happier life. Are you all excited to follow me on my journey, what are some post you would like to see, do you want me to do a weekly diary of how I am doing what I eat and, how I am coping with this new workout schedule. I am a little nervous, determined, excited, and motivated lets get it! This journey is amazing….

The Losing Game

I know summer is coming and, you all want to lose weight and fit into that bikini or those swim trunks but, what if I told you how to maintain that summertime body all year long? I am currently in the process of doing this and, I think it will be great for you all. As you know I have been vegan for a little over a year and, now with a grasp on the food part I can focus on the fitness. I will be taking a walk almost everyday along with yoga. I am going to try to stay as active as possible without tiring myself out.. The bike is the best way to lose weight and get into fitness! I have the bike and the rollers for inside the house when it is a rainy day or for the cold winter weather. Now, that it is getting into warmer weather I am so excited to try riding my bike for the first time in years. My goal is to ride 10-20 minutes on the weekends for the first two weeks and build myself up from there. Keeping active and, off the couch when my body has the energy and, staying on the couch or resting when my body doesn’t have the energy. I have found that there are keys to helping your body heal from the inside out and from the outside in! Listening to your body is number one if you need rest then rest and, I mean rest take a short 30 minute nap, read a book let your body chill it needs to repair itself. When you are bursting with energy use that energy do not let it go to waste move around whether it is; gardening, playing with your kids, walking in the park, playing a sport, volley ball at the beach, roller skating, ice skating, hiking, biking , the possibilities are endless! Do something out of your comfort zone and ride your bike to the park or walk to the park go zip lining. Go camping and hike while camping. It is really up to you where you body goes and, what it does so make sure you listen to it. The most important of all is what you are putting into your mouth that is what’s going to determine your bodies fate. You are what you eat and, if you are eating greasy junk you are going to feel like greasy junk. Pump your body with whole foods fruits, and veggies! These are what make you thrive in life and, I have noticed quite a change in my energy when I eat the proper amount of whole foods. It is extremely important for you to eat healthy and, in return your body will thank you for this by becoming healthier. There is no quick diet, trend, or fad that is going to help you achieve your long term goals. Freelee the banana girls older videos are a fantastic help when transitioning to becoming vegan and, she talks about everything! I really recommend binge watching her videos when she shows you what she eats in a day and how much you really do have to consume to be vegan. Now this dos not mean to eat over 3,000 calories and, sit on the couch everyday because that is not going to help you, you need to put in the work and find a form of “exercising” that you love. Once you find what motivates you to keep moving stick with it, incorporate it into your life, and then add something new in. Before you know it you will be a lean, happy, healthy, fit machine! My morning routine may help you on your journey to do what you love in life and, help you to wake up with positivity in the morning.

Wanderlust: Summer Palnning|Life Goals|Working Goals

Hello Loves,

This is going to prove to be an exciting summer with the prospect of growing all of my businesses and, a bit of traveling. Ahh, the thrill of the unknown and, new places to venture. Today, is a working/planning day for me as I need to increase my sales on Poshmark & Amazon. Along with those business goals I am also, trying to increase my views for my YouTube channel and of course my blog. With my new goals I am a little jumbled with how to get this all accomplished and, of course, intertwine my healthy life & helping the planet goals. Will all this on my mind, I have found I have become more exhausted and, have learned to listen to my body. One of the main reasons I am “trying” to work from home is because I do not have the energy for a normal 9 to 5 job. Some days I am thoroughly exhausted and I need a mid-day nap or a quick break. I am strategizing not only accomplishing my work goals but, taking my life & health goals into consideration. I would say most of the time we do not take care of ourselves and, it leads to health problems later on in life. I want to take care of myself now instead of 30 years down the road when I have worked myself down along with my health. Healing myself from the inside out is my main goal for my life right now. I follow many Vegan YouTubers and, when I wake up in the morning I look forward to watching their videos. Mel, from Raw Nourishment always seems to have the perfect video for what I need to hear that day. Her recent video about making a list and manifesting what you want in your life was just right. Although, her video was about her vegan boyfriend, that is not a high priority on my list this year because I am learning to heal my body, grow my businesses, and love the person I am. Each day I have grown to learn more about myself or my body and, it is fascinating. I no longer worry about what people think of me I am just myself and, I Love it. It is hard to express the change in the way I am because it is not  a physical change but, more of a self accepting change. I feel I have always been myself but, I feel I have actually embraced it. I am more determined and focused to accomplish my goals and aspirations. I am self aware and aware of the disturbance we are putting our planet through. Recently, I have talked about ethical clothing and moving my Poshmark closet into an ethical clothing closet and, possibly my own boutique. Growing my businesses helps me to grow as a person and move forward in my life. In the next two years I would like to get my own place and, travel. To be able to travel & get my own place I need to work ten times harder and longer to accomplish that. I think that everything that I need to get done I will and, my life will fold out when I least expect it to. Let me know how you are feeling and, if you have become enlightened within yourself. What The Hell Is A #Veggan?

#Veggan is popping up all over social media and no, it is not Vegan spelled wrong. This poses the question “What The Hell Is #Veggan? Well, it is a vegan that eats eggs or, that is what the trend is. If only these Veggans knew there is already a name for them ovo-vegetarians. It is interesting that these Veggans think that vegganthey have tapped into a new market. Vegans are plant based and do not eat products derived from animals, this includes, meat, dairy, and eggs. Based on my research the fitness industry is trying to make some coin from this term. It is fitness enthusiast who are wanting to go vegan but, are afraid that are not going to get enough protein. Oh loves, do we not realize how much protein you are getting from a plant-based lifestyle? I will be doing a whole post on protein and why none vegans are so worried about us getting        enough protein. My response is to please do you research before you question the vegan lifestyle. True Vegans will never be eating eggs so, these egg eaters can call themselves what they want because they are only helping the Vegan message to be spread. Veganism is thought to be the cool/trendy way to eat but, for most of us it is about healthy and ethical living. I will post some YouTube Channels down below to help you better understand Vegans and Raw Vegans. Lets spread the #Vegan message and help those who are a bit confused at what Veganism actually is.

Working Out & Throwing Up?

Ciao Tutti,

Yesterday in my Instagram post I said I would explain in further detail about why I get sick working out so, here it is! I decided to do a plyometric bootcamp workout and I felt so sick with about ten minutes to go. Background to me getting sick is that I have low blood pressure and, I get over heated. Great combination right?! When I do floor exercises like burpees etc. I always feel like I am going to throw up. Yesterday, there were a few burpees but, I chose to not do them as I know, they are big triggers of me feeling sick; I did a few floor exercises including planks. While doing the planks I was fine then bam, right after that the dizziness/nausea set in. Oh great, I can’t even finish the workout which almost always happens… I get to the bathroom place a cool wash cloth on the back on my neck, position myself by the toilet, sip coconut water, and hope for the best. I sat there for about ten minutes feeling absolutely horrible and then, I started to feel better. I slowly got myself up and proceeded to go downstairs and make myself dinner. I then recalled that I had forgotten to eat something substantial an hour/hour and a half before working out. I did not have enough energy to burn off because I didn’t eat enough. My blood pressure defiantly dropped but, I’m wondering if my blood sugar dropped as well. I used to use Gatorade for this problem now I use electrolyte water and coconut water. They are both healthier options and work just as well. Bringing you back to when I was in high school I used to have to have salt during the day because my blood pressure would randomly drop ( it was not a pleasant feeling). Now I keep pretzels next to my bed and, it happens less, now usually when working out. I have to remember to eat enough to sustain myself especially when I am going to work out. As a vegan, sometimes I am full and I forget to continue to eat until dinner. Today, I made conscious effort to eat as soon as I woke up and, throughout the day when I was filming. I filmed a taste test and vegan haul so, I had a little bite of sweets and savory snacks before doing a lighter workout today. My goal is to eat around 2,400 calories and, workout about 2-3 times a day. I would like to get back into my workout routine not only to be healthy and get in shape but, to help my RND as well. RND is reflex nerve dystrophy which is a disconnection with your brain and nerves if, you want I will explain about that and my experience in another post. The only way to help RND is to workout to help your nerves try to connect properly. I was in a program where I was working out about 5 hours a day with specific therapies to help RND patients that was a few years ago. For now, one workout a day and hopefully yoga in the morning or at night. I hope you enjoyed my little story feel free to comment below!

Witch Hazel Loving

Ciao Tutti,
So, recently I have been reading about witch hazel and how it takes the toxins out of your body. I have been using it on my face and arm pits. I will be geeing my thyroid checked soon because I have been cold sweating (which means I sweat when I am cold). This problem has been extremely frustrated because my deodorant no longer works properly. I am usually home by myself working so, there isn’t a huge problem but, if I go out I do worry about it. I got curious and decided to do a small amount of research and came across witch hazel being used as not only a toner and face cleanser but, as deodorant. Pleasantly surprised, I started using it to try and regulate my body. I am trying to get back into completely natural ways to heal the body. Yes, heal because there is a built up of toxins from other deodorant brands I have used and I am working to clear my face of some acne spots and blackheads as well. I do wonder if waxing and not shaving the armpit would help to get rid of some of the hair follicles which would leave less room for toxin to develop therefore, less odor would occur. This is an odd occurrence for me because I didn’t have this issue until starting college three years ago although, cold sweating can be caused by stress it seems to not fit because I am out of college and, just working away. I am happy an love what I am doing so, I will be happy to get down to the cause of this. In the meantime, I am using witch hazel to see if I can balance my body to its natural form while decreasing the odor. Does anyone else have this issue, if so what do you do to help yourself. I am vegan so only vegan product suggestions please or natural remedies. I can’t wait to read your comments below. Last question, do you use witch hazel and, what do you use it for. Are we ready to be Holiday Hotties? I am! Just to get you started I will give samples about what this post is going to be:

Here are some of my ideas and what you will see over the next month. If you all enjoy getting fit together I will continue the series! I am not a nutritionist nor am I a fitness instructor however, I am motivated to get fit and will motivate you all throughout the week! I plan on having some Youtube videos throughout the week so, you can see I”m working hard at my goals and, hope you will be inspired. I am not in great shape but, isn’t that why you clicked onto this post, to get in amazing shape? That is why I am writing! If you all would like me to create an instagram and pinterest for you all to keep you on track and motivated, I will surely do so! Your input will help me know what works for my readers and, suggestions are surely welcome! I will be posting updated pictures on my progress and you all are welcome to share your progress, recipes, and tips. Please keep in mind that I am vegan so, all my food plans will be vegan. Eat what feels right for you and remember “chips” aren’t considered healthy but, I don’t feel depriving yourself of something you enjoy works. If you are not having at lIMG_0918east 2,000 calories a day then get on it girl! Anything below 2,000 calories is technically starving yourself and can lead to eating disorders. This blog is all about motivation, eating healthy, and pushing yourself to do the best you can! No deprivation here I am a calorie queen!
