Meal Prep What I have learned

Ciao Tutti,

It has been an interesting couple of weeks and, I have already learned so much. In regards to meal prep I moved toward a simpler kind. I found a meal prep on Pinterest that was simple, quick and, much easier. I also, found a recipe for a soup and, let me tell you I could not get enough it is so delicious. The first meal prep I tried took me over five hours to do and, I decided that was way too much time.  Especially, when I have so many businesses going on I need to devote more time to all of my businesses. I have also, learned to chill out a bit the weight loss will come when it comes. I stick to meal prep for most of the time but, if we are having a party or, family dinner I divulge a little bit. Well, this is about a month later when I’m writing this but, I’m glad I waited to add to it. I would say it has been even more enlightening to be on this weight loss journey. It has been amazing to not overthink what I am putting in my mouth. I still do meal prep but, not by days, I do it by having a few options to chose from such as, soup, pasta etc.. It is so much easier not to do meals by the day but, by what you feel like eating from a few choices. It also, is helping create less waste because I only have about three food items for each week. For example this week I made vegan mac & cheese, soup and, breakfast burritos. Eating when I am hungry is the only time I eat; on occasion I do snack but, that is a rare occurrence . I realized I was eating too much for my body and, it didn’t need all that extra food. I also, drink a chia seed drink every other day to flush out any extra fat that might be caught up. 70% of how you look is made in the kitchen and, the other 20% is made in the gym/working out. Boy have I really been getting into working out. I have work out classes four days a week. I want to incorporate morning and, nighttime yoga, working out on the weekends and, swimming. Trying to not overdue it but, still challenge my body. Yesterday I was in my zumba class and, my bum was on fire because the night before that instructor focused directly on glutes , needless to say I am in a constant state of being sore. It is amazing though, because I am defiantly seeing results. I can’t wait to see what happens in the next three months. Stay motivated, keep at it, and, don’t get in your head. If you are eating healthy, have a few things prepared you can grab at and, work out four-five times a week you should, be setting yourself up for success. More posts are coming your way very soon! I’m also, going to be eating specifically for my lymphatic system in April so, we shall see how that goes..

Day 1 Of Meal Prepping & Working Out

Day 1

Dear Healthy Life,

While I can say today went interestingly… It has been awful weather here with the constant rain which, has been exhausting me. I actually have a B12 deficiency and, haven’t been able to get my B12 shot in 3 months because it took that long to renew my insurance. So, I finally got it and, I am actually feeling much better after a few hours after being injected. Rewind to this morning when my alarm went off for 7 a.m. joke was on me because I woke and, felt like I hadn’t slept in over a week. I didn’t even hit snooze I turned that alarm off and, went right to sleep. I woke up around 10 a.m. still completely exhausted. I threw on my robe and, headed downstairs at about 11 a.m. did yoga which was amazing and, made my first smoothie of the day after. I chowed down on that and, had my snack of celery and m homemade peanutbutter at around 12 p.m. While eating my snack I worked on my freelance article and, finished at about 2:30 p.m. By then  was so hungry I couldn’t wait to have lunch!  Lunch was half a piece of Ezekiel bread, 1 cup cucumber, 1/4 cup of chickpeas, alfalfa sprouts, red onion and, I put a little vegan mayo on the bread because I didn’t want balsamic dressing on my sandwhich.  Still unable to shake off being tired I head downstairs to rest and recover. At about 4 p.m. I had my second smoothie with some frozen mango, 1 banana, almond milk and, a scoop of vegan protein powder. Before I ate the smoothie I had two pieces of vegan quinoa chocolate ( not part of the meal planning). This smoothie was one of the most filling things I had all day and, I didn’t eat until about 7:20 p.m. My mom had called and, said she wanted to have a movie night with me and, that I should rest. I was planning on going to zumba but, probably would have been a terrible idea seeing that even speaking to her was making me tired. For dinner I had two small corn tortillas, 3/4 a cup of vegetarian refried beans (they were vegan as well), 1 cup of lettuce, salsa and, 1/4 avocado. Then during the movie I had popcorn that I popped with vegan butter and, some black licorice. Now, in hindsight probably could have had less licorice but, over all I think I did pretty well. I may have to add a little more food but, I can say I was satisfied after my dinner. Over the next couple of weeks I will be working out a lot more so, stay tuned to hear about that. Overall I am pleased and, very grateful for the B12 shot otherwise I would need to live somewhere that has sunshine all the time! I wouldn’t be opposed to living in a very sunny place but, it is N.J. for now. And, a dreary season ahead. I hope with working out, eating well and, taking the correct vitamins that my energy level will be back up where it needs to be. Oh, I got the article all edited and, sent it a few minutes ago in case you all were wondering. It is currently 10:53 p.m. and, I am going to watch a few YouTube videos and, get to bed. Hoping to get a lot of Amazin, Poshmark and, ebay work done tomorrow as well as, laundry, office cleaning, room cleaning and, possibly cleaning the shower.. Which reminds me that I need to get in a shower tomorrow and, get myself ready for the day. I find that if I do my hair/makeup and, get dressed like I would be going to work it motivates me to make my day that much more productive. Hopefully tomorrow I will write that I accomplish everything on my list.

It is so late I really need to got to bed but, I wanted to share with you where I am at for all my businesses in 2017. I just started selling on ebay and, my goal is to have about 300 items listed every week in 2017 which, is going to be a challenge but, one I am ready to work very hard for. My ebay isn’t getting too much attention but, with hard work, more listings and, learning I am hoping to increase my watchers to at least 20 for now but, I hope to have them in the hundreds or thousands by the end of 2017. Poshmark has been moving like a snail and, I am trying to work from a new angle but, I am not sure why I haven’t been getting many bites even with my ongoing promotion. Poshmark has been a bit of an enigma that I am determined to solve. Amazon continues to grow and, I must feed it inventory every week or I can kiss my chances of making $3,000 a week goodbye. I understand how many products I need to sell in order to make close to a certain amount of money. I am still figuring out Amazon and, we are by no means making money off of it at the moment but, that is because I don’t have thousands of dollars to invest in Amazon. I am starting to focus back up on my blog and, trying to make money off of that because I think it is entirely possible. I have different topics I will be focusing on in order to gain more followers and, companies that want to run ads on my blog. YouTube although, I am absolutely in love with making videos I do not think I will be able to make money off of my channel but, I will continue to produce videos because I do have 51 fabulous followers and, I just enjoy it so much! Yes, there is more… I am continuing to do Freelance jobs because I need to make money and, enjoy writing for the companies. Freelance is really where I am bringing money in and, my plan is to make about $1,000 a month with Freelance which will require a lot of work. I think I covered everything haha… I really do work very hard and, I know it will pay off in the long run. It does deprive me a bit of a social life but, it is hard to have a social life without making money right? It is funny with all of these jobs I always here why don’t you get a part time job…. Well, although, I may not be making enough money to live on at the moment if I continue to work extremely hard it will pay off. I would not do will in a 9-5 job I am a creative person, explorer, boundary pusher who is an entrepreneur. This is my life welcome to it…

Fitness Update & Cleaning Up My Eating

Hello Loves,

I have been pursuing my fitness journey for some time now. I have been going to the gym and, working out at home. I have slacked a bit on working out at home which is something I am trying to get together. I just cleaned my beautiful room so, I will be able to do a lot more workouts. I am thinking that I will put together a little food plan for myself to have my meals all ready and, switch up the workouts every week. I think February is when I will start my swimming back up which will be a process and, I will probably start small like can I swim straight for 5 minutes which sounds ridiculous but, it will take me awhile to build my swimming stamina back up. Today will be my planning day since I got a lot accomplished over this weekend which, allows me the time to plan a bit. I have been resting quite a bit this weekend as well because I felt that I needed. It is also, hard to get sleep sometimes when pet sitting so, I would wake up let the dog out feed it and, then sleep a little more. You all know I have been chatting with you about my many business ventures and, how to really make money blogging. I am still in the learning stages but, I am putting my heart and soul into every venture that I set out to take on. I have learned that I so need to make a calendar for myself and, schedule out posts throughout the month, when I’m shipping out products for Amazon; YouTube Videos to be shot, Freelance jobs, Pet Sitting… You’d think I’d be rolling in the dough from all these jobs.. I have invested quite a bit of my own money into my Amazon business and, in order for it to reach the amount of sales I want it to reach I need 600-1,000 books a month and, somehow only spend $300 a month. I mean, it is possibly but, that is an extra $300 a month I need to come up with. Yikes, so much money going out and, not much coming in. But, just as I had said in a previous post we need to invest in our” health” just like in this case I need to invest in my future. I am already thinking about my 401K, Investments, Retirement, and future projects to invest in. I take all of these things extremely seriously and, moving into my mid twenties I want to be in a comfortable position. At 25 years old I don’t want to be living pay check to pay check which is why I am putting the time in now. I was able to save enough money to invest in my first two businesses, learn from them and, then able to invest in my Amazon business today. Researching and, learning are super important when it comes to Amazon and, all of my other business ventures. Recently I was watching a YouTube video on a man my age who is making $10,000,000 a year with Amazon and, consulting. He said he got $50,000 in investment for his Amazon and, it just grew expediently. To turn $50,000 investment into millions of dollars is not only impressive, it is smart. Now being only 22 years old I have zero collateral to be able to get this kind of money for an investment. I thought I would start out smaller with my goal but, to make it really happen and, blow my goals away, I will need to implement what I learned. Right now I am trying to get as many Freelance jobs as possible within my field and, try to make an extra $1,000 a month. With the $1,000 a month I would set aside $400 books, $40 phone, $30 gym, $200 NZ trip, $100 groceries, $200 savings, $30 spending money. You may think $1,000 isn’t much money but, to me it is amazing because it keeps my business and, life going. If you noticed I don’t have apartment expenses and, that is because  I am still living with my parents I also, do not own a car. I am in the middle of studying for permit/license yes, I realize I am old and, should have all of that already there is a short story to go along with that but, basically time got away from me. I have been putting time in to study for the permit so I’m hoping by the end of December I will be good to go to take the test. Once I have a license and, car it will open up more expenses but, it will also, give me the ability to travel to book sales and, be able to dog walk etc… But, back to the point you have to make this all happen for yourself and, so do I. My goal is to be solely reliant on myself and, nobody else. Like one of my favorite quotes says, “Your attention please , no one is coming to save you. This life of yours is 100% your responsibility.”

It is so true, you are responsible for you and looking out for yourself. 20 years down the road you don’t want to regret not giving yourself a solid platform for yourself. I am still planning on doing a woofing trip to New Zealand because I’m young and, I want to travel! Skys the limits because the only one in the way is yourself so, take control of you and, build a cushion for yourself, become a boss lady or gentlemen.

My Vegan Diary Day 1

Dear Diary,

It has been awhile since writing to you last and, I can’t wait to share what I have eaten. Since becoming vegan I have tried, tested and, made a lot of vegan food and, now that I feel I kind of have a grasp on the food part I jumped on the workout bandwagon. Yes, I do not like to admit that I let my workouts slip but, I did and, I am certainly paying the price. After making the mistake of thinking just because I am vegan I don’t have to work out as hard I have gained some unwanted lbs. Was I eating all whole foods? Haha, no I’m glad you mention that because it is good to be able to have more greasy vegan food or processed food but, I’m afraid my body does not really agree. I have been laying off the vegan “junk food” as much as possible and trying to carb the F up the right way. As you may have heard from one of my posts I joined the gym and, started swimming again! I am so happy to be back on track and rid myself of the evil unwanted extra fat. Today I swam for about 10 minutes, took a yoga class, and did zumba. Although, I am exhausted I feel fantastic. Let’s take a look at what I ate throughout my day.

Breakfast:

 I promised you all the recipe to this amazing nice cream on my instagram so, here it is.

Strawberry nice cream: Half a bag of frozen strawberries, 3-5 frozen bananas, and a little bit of almond milk. Blend in your food processor or blender until you get a creamy ice cream like consistency.

Chocolate nice cream: add a tablespoon or more depending on how chocolatey you want it to taste. The add 3-5 frozen bananas and blend untile you get the ice cream consistency.

Enjoy or add chia seed gel for a great topping. Look up how to soak chia seeds I am in the beginning stages of testing this.

Lunch was heaven in the backyard as a picnic! I love backyard picnics, don’t you? I also watched a few episodes of Charmed on Netflix!

Dinner was leftover salad, dip from lunch, half an avocado, and two baked sweet potatoes.

It was a great day filled with accomplishments not only with my health but, with my work as well.

I joined a gym?

Yes,

Hello loves, I have joined a gym but, not because of the gym equipment but, mainly because of the pool!! I will be starting my training to try to get my swimming back to where it should be. Today on my vlog I talked about moving my channel toward fitness and, ethical fashion. On my new YouTube Channel “Forever Seeking Wanderlust” I will be posting travel vlogs and ethical fashion videos. If you are a follower of allie vLuv don’t worry I will still be posting vlogs, hauls, makeup, and vegan videos. Back to the gym, well, I had enough with not being physically fit. I have a few knee problems and, Reflex Nerve dystrophy so, I want to ease back into really getting in shape. I used to be on the swim team when I was younger and, just swim a lot in general. I will start with getting back into swimmer shape and, work on my technic. Once I have been able to get myself to a solid 20-30 minute swim I will start to incorporate a challenge that I would to put on the YouTube Channel. I was watching a YouTube Channel I will link a video down below, and, he was doing 40 hours of working for the week. It gave me he idea of pushing myself to do 3 hour challenge and 1 hour every other week to build up resistance. I will have to be careful of running because of my knees I will have to build up fast walking/jog to a run. Once I have established a jog, longer swim I can start the 3 hour 2 week challenge and keep building that up until I reach my 40 hour goal. I realize that it will take me about a month to get myself back in semi-swimming ready. I also, want to be able to bike to the gym over this summer which will be amazing when that happens. The visual of riding my bike to the gym is inspirational in my mind and, I can not wait for that vision to come to life. What we manifest, we put out to the universe what we want and, in return the universe usually gives us what we would like. We have to want it, think about, pray about it (if you are religious), write about it, and act on it. Your positive acts, thoughts, and feeling will be contagious; it is the kind of contagion that I wish would spread throughout the world. I am very excited to peacefully transition into a healthier/fitter lifestyle. As I start to lose weight it will be captured on all of my videos. I plan on eating vegan, of course, but, I will either be fruitarian or rawtill4. I will be learning what my body fuels on best when working out more and, how much I will need to bring with me. I am thinking i will be incorporating more medjol dates, smoothies, bananas, and of course my favorites melons!! I just bought a cap for my hair so I can swim with ease, I already own a one piece bathing suit, and goggles. I know that bathing suit isn’t going to be so flattering but, in my mind I have gotten over myself and, focus on where I need to get my body in order to be healthier and, have a happier life. Are you all excited to follow me on my journey, what are some post you would like to see, do you want me to do a weekly diary of how I am doing what I eat and, how I am coping with this new workout schedule. I am a little nervous, determined, excited, and motivated lets get it! This journey is amazing….

The Losing Game

I know summer is coming and, you all want to lose weight and fit into that bikini or those swim trunks but, what if I told you how to maintain that summertime body all year long? I am currently in the process of doing this and, I think it will be great for you all. As you know I have been vegan for a little over a year and, now with a grasp on the food part I can focus on the fitness. I will be taking a walk almost everyday along with yoga. I am going to try to stay as active as possible without tiring myself out.. The bike is the best way to lose weight and get into fitness! I have the bike and the rollers for inside the house when it is a rainy day or for the cold winter weather. Now, that it is getting into warmer weather I am so excited to try riding my bike for the first time in years. My goal is to ride 10-20 minutes on the weekends for the first two weeks and build myself up from there. Keeping active and, off the couch when my body has the energy and, staying on the couch or resting when my body doesn’t have the energy. I have found that there are keys to helping your body heal from the inside out and from the outside in! Listening to your body is number one if you need rest then rest and, I mean rest take a short 30 minute nap, read a book let your body chill it needs to repair itself. When you are bursting with energy use that energy do not let it go to waste move around whether it is; gardening, playing with your kids, walking in the park, playing a sport, volley ball at the beach, roller skating, ice skating, hiking, biking , the possibilities are endless! Do something out of your comfort zone and ride your bike to the park or walk to the park go zip lining. Go camping and hike while camping. It is really up to you where you body goes and, what it does so make sure you listen to it. The most important of all is what you are putting into your mouth that is what’s going to determine your bodies fate. You are what you eat and, if you are eating greasy junk you are going to feel like greasy junk. Pump your body with whole foods fruits, and veggies! These are what make you thrive in life and, I have noticed quite a change in my energy when I eat the proper amount of whole foods. It is extremely important for you to eat healthy and, in return your body will thank you for this by becoming healthier. There is no quick diet, trend, or fad that is going to help you achieve your long term goals. Freelee the banana girls older videos are a fantastic help when transitioning to becoming vegan and, she talks about everything! I really recommend binge watching her videos when she shows you what she eats in a day and how much you really do have to consume to be vegan. Now this dos not mean to eat over 3,000 calories and, sit on the couch everyday because that is not going to help you, you need to put in the work and find a form of “exercising” that you love. Once you find what motivates you to keep moving stick with it, incorporate it into your life, and then add something new in. Before you know it you will be a lean, happy, healthy, fit machine! My morning routine may help you on your journey to do what you love in life and, help you to wake up with positivity in the morning.

Maintenance-Make The Time

Hello Loves,

For the past two days I have been doing a little body maintenance. Yesterday I was waxing my legs and, today I will be doing my nails. This may seem like a regular thing on your schedule but, for me these things always take the back burner because I will always put work first. After being really annoyed that my legs had hair on them ( as I am not a fan of hair on my legs at all) I decided I was going to wax my legs. If you have waxed yourself before you know that it is super time consuming so, you must commit at least 3 hours to have available to wax. And now after I am done typing this I will be doing my nails. If you read my previous posts you will know I am looking at getting some shampoos and vegan maintenance items. I decided that I needed to take the time to take care of myself and, to adjust the way I was taking care of my body. I am going to be working on fitting in yoga twice a day and doing something for myself once or twice a week. It is so important to take time to pamper and, nourish our bodies. I had been putting this all off for about 3 weeks and, not realizing that I need to make time for me. The whole point of this post is to realize that you too are important and, need to take the time to do maintenance on yourself. The Saving Game

Welcome to “The Saving Game,” here we like to have you spend money so, it is impossible for you to save up. I wouldn’t be lying if we didn’t love to put you in debt and then make the money off of the interest. In fact that is the name of our game!!

Haha I hope you enjoyed my little joke at the top. If you are not new to this blog you will have known about 1-2 years ago I did a series on How Get Rid Debt Or Stay Debt free. No, I do not claim to know every single way or the tricks to saving but, I did and, do have some tips. If you haven’t read my blog about how I earn money you might want to find in the description below. So, for years I have been saving money and investing it into my businesses similar to the Character on 7th Heaven “Simon,” I too, was like a bank. I do not once remember not having money all throughout high school because I was always working and, save wisely. I went to the movies very little and, selectively went out to eat. My expenses were my phone $15 (at the time), birthday/Christmas presents, clothing, and any extras like going out to eat, movies, bowling etc. I was not a frivolous spender because I knew the value of a dollar and, how much work went into making that money. Today, I am no longer like a bank but, that is because I have invested money in my future. I decided to start a few businesses and, of course needed to purchase things, like any other business. I needed a laptop for blogging, a camera/lighting for YouTube, and inventory as an FBA seller on Amazon. Of course, Amazon has been my largest investment. I am now in-charge of my businesses and of course my finances. I actually love it and, of course it is thrilling to try and launch a business however, it burns a pig hole in my bank account. Having my blog, YouTube Channel, Poshmark/Vinted/Mercari, and Freelance work in my head would pay for my phone, clothing, some food, toiletry products etc.. It has been quite a struggle because none of those jobs are guaranteed money.  But, instead of being hard on myself I work even harder everyday in hopes that I will have a larger amount of followers, jobs on Freelance websites, and more sales on Poshmark. I just listing a lot of new items on my Poshmark closet and, have invested in a faux fur piece of fabric to make the pictures more appealing to my customers; I also, teamed up with Bear’s Beauty to give my Poshers sample products from her beauty store. I applied to a freelance job( I have to get going on that a bit more but, this week has truly been all about Poshamark). I have been trying to edit as much as possible and, upload. I admit I can not do it all so, my blog did suffer a bit this week. I am hoping to sit down this weekend and, pre-write a few posts for the next couple of weeks. I absolutely love writing to you all and, I think you should have something written for you everyday of the week and, trust me, I have been coming up with ideas galore. I even have a few series that I will be kicking off! So, in order to achieve saving, and buying I intend to continue to work extremely hard and, hope my Poshmark closet sells out, that my YouTube Channel & Blog Flourish and, that I get more Freelance work. I do have to say that working hard this week payed off because I sold an item on Poshmark, gained a follower on YouTube, and sold three items on Amazon in the last three days. So, you may wonder what I want to make a month, what I want to make, and what I want to spend because everyone likes knowing everything about everyone, I guess its just the curiosity of Human Beings. So, has always I am an open book…

It is really not the most amount of money but, it was something. Now in 2016 I would like to and, need to, step it up!

Amazon we have invested a lot in so, so far we have not seen a profit but, did break even at the end of 2015. Of course, you have to invest money to earn it… We will need to build up quite a bit of inventory before the sales start pouring in… Of Goal for Amazon this year is $10,000 Net Profit , we shall see if the goal is realistic

Now What I want To Spend Money On In The Next Couple Of Years:

I’d like to buy my own house or property having saved around $500,000 to feel comfortable enough to purchase an furnish the house and, leave enough for accidentals etc. My dream would be to buy the house/property in cash

My own car having $5,000-$10,000 to feel I am able to purchase a used car and have enough for gas/maintenance.

And of course have savings and money to travel

For Right Now there are a few Immediate purchases that I would like to make and, am looking to save up to get. I do not believe in using my credit card unless I have the money in my account ready to pay it right away which, would help me build up my credit.

So how much will I need to earn in order to pay for all these things:

Trip To Italy!

So, this stuff above is also, great because I make YouTube videos about my hair care routine if the product is working etc.. The same thing applies to my blog. I also, would like to do a few months of traveling and, make a travel vlog/blog. So, lets get out of the saving game and, actually make saving happen!! Hopefully I can meet my goals!
